Live Paintings
Dumah's Live paintings are a collection of paintings that were painted live at concerts and festivals. Painting to the beat of the music and feeding off the energy of the band and crowd, Dumah captures that energy onto canvas.

Dumah, shown here, at the 2004 Bonnaroo Music Festival. From left to right: Dumah, Frenchy, Scramble Campbell, Sean Poole.

Dumah had the pleasure to meet and paint with fellow artists at this year's festival. The four artists got together and painted Yonder Mountain String Band to kick off the festivities. Frenchy and Scramble have been a huge influence on Dumah since the 2002 Bonnaroo Music Festival. Dumah was heavily inspired by the concept of painting a band live in concert. After trying it himself, he was hooked. "The creative energy just seems to flow from the live music and the energy of the crowd and the band", says Dumah. "I have always wanted to combine my love of music and art, and this has been a great outlet for that. Many thanks to these guys for their inspiration. You should definitely check out their artwork!"
